3 ON 3 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

BEEFIT TRAINING CENTER sponsored a 3 on 3 basketball tournament which started last March 15, Saturday at the Matina Town Square Basketball Court. A total of ten (10) teams joined the 3 weekend tournament. Ventures For Victory/Sports Ambassadors was one of the teams that participated the tournament.

Together with our two boys Brian Christopher, John Paul and myself formed the VV/SA team that joined the league. Even if we did not win our first 2 games, we still had the chance to minister to the other players.

On our next game, we plan to distriubute some gospel tracts to the players and Brian & JJ plans to share their testimony during the games.

Please help us pray for the success of the tournament and that God will use us to minister to all the participants.

UNIVERSAL CHURCH OF CHRIST INC.

Once again our family had a 2 days missions trip to Davao del Norte last March 8-9, 2008. We visited some pastors and churches in Panabo City, Carmen and Tagum City.

We had a great time fellowship with these pastors and sharing with them our vision and mission. On our last day of travel, we had the chance to minister at the Universal Church Of Christ Inc. whom the resident pastor is a dear friend of ours.

The family ministered thru song while I gave the message. We were so thankful for the opportunity that God has given to blessed this church. We also went home being encouraged by the positive response of our brethren in their involvement in missions in the area.

We hope to visit UCCI again in the future.
